The 5K and Kids 50 Yard Dash are Friday, September 3, 2021. Start times for each race are:

  • Kids 50 Yard Dash: 5:15 PM
  • 5K: 6:00 PM

The Kids 50 Yard Dash start will be located on the South End Zone.

The 5K will take place on the West Side 100 level concourse inside of Gillette Stadium. The actual start area will have a large START Banners spread across the concourse.

Race times are:

  • Kids 50 Yard Dash: 5:15 PM
  • 5K: 6:00 PM

Both race courses enter Gillette Stadium and finish at the 50-yard line. After your triumphant finish, the finish chute will bring you out by the bridge and the Lighthouse.

The 5K race is 3.1 miles and a 10K race is 6.2 miles long. Both courses will be accurate, well marked, and there will be mile markers for each mile. 

 

The 5K course begins and ends in Gillette Stadium, therefore no public access until race day. Find out more on our Course page. The 5K course is on the grounds of Patriot Place.

Yes! Walkers are welcome and encouraged to participate in the 5K race. Please start in the appropriate place in the pack. 

Yes! The race will accept your application and enter you in the race. However, please make every effort to register at least three weeks before the event to allow us to better plan for your safety and the safety of others. Also, please notify the race director what type of cycle you will use and your expected finish time.*

5K Event: NO STROLLERS ALLOWED – For your safety and the safety of other runners and walkers no strollers are allowed in either race. Note: the courses travel up and down some of the stadium ramps. It would be very dangerous and difficult to maneuver baby joggers up and down these ramps.

No. Dogs are not allowed in this race and will not be allowed in the stadium.

Maybe. If the race fills up, then there will be no race day registration. It is possible the race may fill up and close out early. Stay tuned to the web site for details on race registration closure.

T-shirts and race bib numbers (with the B-tag) can be picked up at the registration area inside the Cross Insurance Pavilion at Gillette Stadium.

Yes. If possible, please bring a copy of the race registration confirmation email for verification.

No. Race policy is that refunds are not allowed.

No. We cannot offer places to change or shower after the race. Please come dressed to run.

Yes! This race will use the latest “disposable” chip called the B-Tag. This “chip” is built into your race bib number that you wear on the FRONT of your shirt. It is a small tag with an electronic sensor that records when you travel over the start and finish mat.

It is a small tag with an electronic sensor that records when you travel over the start and finish mat. This is the same system used now in the Boston Marathon.

Note: PLEASE Do not fold, spindle or mutilate your race bib number AND wear it on the front of your shirt to get the most accurate time.

Yes. There will be restroom facilities on the course by the aid station, at the start of the race and at end of the race.

Yes. There will be four aid/water stations on the 10K course and three aid/water stations on the 5K course. There will also be aid/water at the start and finish.

For the safety of our race participants the number of participants will be capped at 5,000 runners and walkers. We would love to let everyone in, but safety requires that we limit the field. (combined race total)

Yes! Spectators will have the very best seats in the stadium – close to the field in the lower bowl of Gillette Stadium to watch and cheer on racers as they cross the finish line.

Inside Gillette Stadium is the best place of course! We will welcome spectators to watch the finish from the stands in Gillette Stadium.

Parking at Gillette Stadium is plentiful and free. Parking will not be an issue. Please plan to arrive at least one hour before the race to allow time for everyone to park.
